In September we took a sponatnious trip to Disneyland. It was very exciting to be gathered around the dinnertable and ask the kids if they would like to go to Disneyland in 2 weeks. Naturally, they started jumping around and dinner was forgotten.

While in California, we visited the beach. I don't know who enjoyed our KFC fried chicken more, us or the seagulls. The kids loved the water and sand, especially Hyrum. He loved getting knocked over by the waves and coming up covered in sand.
